HORIBA Jobin Yvon (Edison, NJ) released the LS5 software, designed with a kernel-based modular structure. It operates all Raman products including the automated LabRAM ARAMIS, high-resolution LabRAM HR, and T64000 triple spectrograph. It incorporates custom accessories such as FT-IR, mapping, temperature-controlled stages, and additional detectors (all of which can be retrofitted). The software records Raman images in any shape or format. A range of data-processing tools is available to monitor the intensity of the marker band, perform multivariate chemometrics analysis, or provide a gateway to stand-alone, dedicated chemical-imaging data-processing software.
