Mikron Infrared (Oakland, NJ) offers the Model M7500 infrared camera configurable for midwave or long-wave imaging and four different temperature bands. The camera is an uncooled microbolometer camera that features spectral tuning technology. It can image in the mid-wave bands of 3.9 μm and 4.8 to 5.2 μm, in a temperature range of 400 to 1600°C. The camera has two temperature ranges of -40 to 120°C, and 50 to 500°C in 8 to 14 μm long-wave mode for thermal monitoring applications. An 8 to 14 μm high-temperature version provides a range of 200 to 2000°C.

The M7500 provides temperature measurement accuracy of ±2°C for glass, ceramics, food processing, paper, steel, textiles, electronics, and hydrocarbon/chemical processing applications. The camera uses a microbolometer detector that provides 320 × 240 resolution. The detector has 76,800 temperature-measuring pixels, providing images and temperature measurement resolution as fine as one-tenth of a square inch at a distance of six feet. Other features include industrial protective packaging and 100BaseT Ethernet.
