Gems Sensors & Controls (Plainville, CT) has announced 3100 Series pressure transducers. The series design incorporates a sputtered thin-film, pressure-sensing element with temperature specifications, along with all stainless-steel wetted parts.

The transducers are available in eight standard ranges, from 0-100 psi (0-7 bar) up to 0-30K psi (0-2200 bar), with standard proof pressures as high as 3.00× FS, and up to 40× FS maximum burst pressure (100-300 PSI; 7-25 bar range). Gems 3100 Series pressure transducers are also RoHS compliant, with a minimum IP65 ingress protection rating.

In addition, Gems 3100 Series pressure transducers are fitted with an ASIC. The ASIC optionally provides either a voltage output or a 4-20 mA current output. The transducers can also be specified for industrial control and indicating loop requirements without the need for additional amplification.
