The CB120, a 4K camera from XIMEA (Münster, Germany/Golden, CO), uses a PCI Express® (PCIe®) interface and delivers 12-Megapixel images. With the help of fiber-optic cable, 130 frames per second is achieved over distances up to 300 meters. The CB120 provides bandwidth of 20 Gb/s.

CMOSIS CMV12000 sensors enable global shutter and 12-bit images. The PCIe® interface is implemented inside of the camera. Image data, immediately available for processing and encoding, is delivered and stored inside the PC memory. Models include opto-isolated inputs and outputs. The 60 × 60 × 38 mm device weighs 175 grams.
