Code Generator

dSPACE, Wixom, MI, offers Version 4.4 of TargetLink code generator software that features controller modeling with MATLAB® code from MathWorks. It describes algorithms and behavior directly with MATLAB code in a Simulink model. The module for MATLAB Code can be used to map the modeling process. Production code generated with TargetLink can be validated and tested on a dSPACE real-time system so users can immediately verify how the developed code works in a real-world environment.

Rapid-Release Pins

JW Winco, A Ganter Company, New Berlin, WI, introduced WN 100.1 T-handle, inch-size, rapid-release pins with stainless steel shanks for fastening and alignment applications. The pin will not release until the button on the handle is depressed, at which time the balls retract into the shank, allowing the pin to be inserted into or removed from its position. They offer 12/24/48V outputs, 150% peak power for four seconds, and a ruggedized metal enclosure. Liquid Level Sensor

The NCR-84 from BinMaster, Lincoln, NE, is an 80-GHz radar sensor used for continuous, noncontact level measurement in liquids. It is designed specifically for measurement in excessive steam, vapor, condensation, or surface foam. Desktop 3D Scanner

The Artec Micro from Artec, Santa Clara, CA, is an automated, metrology-grade desktop 3D scanner equipped with twin cameras and blue LED lights that are synchronized with the scanner’s dual-axis rotation system.
