Teguar Corp., Charlotte, NC, introduced the TRT-A5380 Series of rugged tablets with the Android operating system for monitoring and controlling manufacturing operations. The TRT-A5380-08/10 units include a built-in barcode scanner option and an 8-pin pogo connector for mounting to a vehicle or desktop docking station. TRT-A5380-08S/10S models feature a slim housing with 8" and 10.1" screens. All units are MIL-STD-810G rated and can handle drops up to 4 feet onto concrete. Features include onboard GPS, 4G, and Wi-Fi; built-in 13.56-MHz NFC, and high-resolution cameras to capture images for service and troubleshooting. The tablets have a wide temperature range and are at least IP65-rated.
