Power-Management IC (PMIC) for AMOLED displays combines a low quiescent current and enhanced flexibility to extend the battery runtime of portable devices. With an input voltage range from 2.9 V to 4.8 V, it contains three integrated DC-DC converters to provide all the power rails needed for AMOLED displays in smartphones and other portable devices.

Digital Isolator
The STISO620 digital isolator from STMicroelectronics, Geneva, Switzerland, contains two channels of the same directionality, having inputs on one side of the isolation barrier and outputs on the other. It provides high noise immunity with up to 100 Mbit/s switching speed and pulse distortion less than 3 ns. Peak impulse voltage (VIOTM) is 4000 volts, isolation voltage (VISO) is 2830 Vrms and maximum working isolation voltage (VIOWM) is 849 Vrms.

Remote I/O Modules
Acromag, Wixom, MI, has released two new Remote Input/Output (I/O) modules, the NT2510 and NT2530, as part of its Busworks® NT Series. These modules are designed to be a cost-effective solution for monitoring and controlling analog and discrete signals in industrial applications. Coilcraft, Cary, IL, is offering the XGL4012 series of low-profile power inductors with a DCR up to 50 percent lower than previous-generation products, current ratings up to 21.5 A with soft saturation, inductance values as low as 0.10 μH and up to 1.2 μH, operating voltage rating of 80 V, AEC-Q200 Grade 1 (–40 °C to +125 °C), with a 165 °C maximum part temperature.

Optran® Plus UV and Optran Plus WF (water-free) pure fused silica/silica core fibers from Armadillo SA, Riga, Latvia, feature the highest numerical aperture (NA) currently available.
