Power-Management IC (PMIC) for AMOLED displays combines a low quiescent current and enhanced flexibility to extend the battery runtime of portable devices. With an input voltage range from 2.9 V to 4.8 V, it contains three integrated DC-DC converters to provide all the power rails needed for AMOLED displays in smartphones and other portable devices.

Digital Isolator

The STISO620 digital isolator from STMicroelectronics, Geneva, Switzerland, contains two channels of the same directionality, having inputs on one side of the isolation barrier and outputs on the other. It provides high noise immunity with up to 100 Mbit/s switching speed and pulse distortion less than 3 ns. Peak impulse voltage (VIOTM) is 4000 volts, isolation voltage (VISO) is 2830 Vrms and maximum working isolation voltage (VIOWM) is 849 Vrms.

Remote I/O Modules

Acromag, Wixom, MI, has released two new Remote Input/Output (I/O) modules, the NT2510 and NT2530, as part of its Busworks^® NT Series. These modules are designed to be a cost-effective solution for monitoring and controlling analog and discrete signals in industrial applications. Eight models have bidirectional discrete I/O, voltage or current analog inputs, and optional analog current outputs. They have field-selectable Modbus TCP/IP or Ether-Net/IPTM communication.

CAD/CAM Software

OPEN MIND Technologies, Needham, MA, has introduced its latest hyperMILL^® 2023 CAD/CAM software suite, which offers enhanced features for NC programming in applications ranging from 2.5D machining to 5-axis milling. One new feature uses a selected reference geometry and searches for the same reference in all other models regardless of spatial orientation, creating a general transformation pattern including associated frames. The new generation LOCC-Box devices from LUTZE, Charlotte, NC, have innovative push-in terminals with a clamping range of AWG 24-14. Low-Profile Power Inductors

Coilcraft, Cary, IL, is offering the XGL4012 series of low-profile power inductors with a DCR up to 50 percent lower than previous-generation products, current ratings up to 21.5 A with soft saturation, inductance values as low as 0.10 μH and up to 1.2 μH, operating voltage rating of 80 V, AEC-Q200 Grade 1 (–40 °C to +125 °C), with a 165 °C maximum part temperature.

Magnetic Sensor Systems (MSS), Van Nuys, CA, has released the new R-09-150 CCWM Series of counterclockwise, forward shaft extension rotary solenoids available in OEM quantities, with 18 different winding configurations allowing the user to match torque and duty cycle requirements to an application. They are 38.1 mm in diameter 22.1 mm long. The shaft has 40 degrees of counterclockwise rotation, extending 13.0 mm.

Optran^® Plus UV and Optran Plus WF (water-free) pure fused silica/silica core fibers from Armadillo SA, Riga, Latvia, feature the highest numerical aperture (NA) currently available.
