This product is an efficient concrete waterproofing solution. The crystalline, anti-corrosive material features a patented eka-molecular-sieve structure. The cement-based material works with the matrix of cement and water to create crystals that block the pores and capillaries in the concrete, making it impervious to water and corrosives. The material cures within 24 hours without any special ventilation. It continues to penetrate into the substrate as long as water is present. It will lay dormant in the substrate for years without the presence of water; however, if water attempts to enter at a future date through hairline cracks, the chemicals once again will become active and block the passage of water, creating a self-healing capability.

Sealers are generally organic materials; this product is an inorganic material. Its formulation consists of cement, fine quartz, multiple activating chemicals, and proprietary ingredients that provide a permanent concrete waterproofing system. The activating chemicals catalyze hydration to produce insoluble crystalline hydrate, which can block the capillaries and pores while still allowing the concrete to breathe.

The activating substance is made from unsaturated polar molecules and is an ultra-fine (nm) powder. It will attach to the surface of the cement stones by the action of another important special auxiliary material, a sort of eka-molecular sieve. The latter has many pores with a certain uniform size and a very high specific surface area. It can adsorb certain molecules optionally according to the size and form of molecules. For polar and unsaturated molecules, the stronger the polarity and unsaturated degree is, the stronger its adsorption opting ability.

After the activating substance at the molecular level is absorbed on the surface of the eka-molecular sieve and all its fine holes, it spontaneously separates into the atomic level state. At this point, the activating substance exists in the small cages of the eka-molecular sieve in a positive or negative ion, or their "inclusion body" form; thus the activating substance is activated, creating ionization. Enrichment and ionization of the activating substance with the help of the eka-molecular sieve creates the condition for its diffusion and migration throughout the concrete substrate.

It can be applied to any concrete structure (bridges, foundations, water treatment plants, tunnels, hydroelectric dams, piles in seawater, airports, etc.) at normal temperatures, and does not require a base coat application. It can be applied to the positive or negative side of a structure using a brush, trowel, spray, or injection. It resists freezing/ thawing and chlorides, will not delaminate, and is not affected by ultraviolet radiation.
