Do you have a new product or invention? Or even just a design idea?

No matter where you are in the development process, you can still submit your innovation to the annual 'Create the Future' Design Contest– a free competition that rewards the grand-prize winner with a cash prize of $20,000.

Our 2018 winner: Invisible Glass from Brookhaven National Laboratory.

Other top prizes in 2018 were awarded in the following categories:

  • Aerospace & Defense
  • Automotive/Transportation
  • Consumer Products
  • Electronics/Sensors/IoT
  • Robotics/Automation/Manufacturing
  • Medical
  • Sustainable Technologies

Last year's standouts included a landmine detector, an ultra-small antenna, and a way of turning aluminum into fuel.

The 2019 contest is currently open for submissions until July 1. (Register here!)

Now in its 17th year, “Create the Future” brings together engineers, entrepreneurs, and students in an effort to find innovative technology ideas that can benefit society and improve quality of life.

You can enter the contest for free, either as an individual contestant or as a team. You can also participate by voting on your favorite entry.

An independent panel of industry professionals will judge the submissions. For more information on the official contest rules, go to www.createthefuturecontest.com.
