UAVOS , the European company best known for its ApusDuo  high-altitude, solar-powered, pseudo-satellite – not to mention its cutting-edge autopilot technology – introduced three new unmanned helicopters at AUVSI’s XPONENTIAL  show in Chicago.

The UVH-290E is powered by a gasoline engine and has a maximum payload of 20 kg. The UVH-170E, powered by a four-stroke gasoline engine, is designed for use in hot, moist tropical climates so it has an improved cooling system. The UVH-EL is powered by an electric motor with rechargeable Li-Ion batteries and has a maximum payload of 5 kg.

All three of the new helicopters feature the company’s proprietary autopilot system.
