Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing (Leesburg, VA) offers the SVME/DMV-1901 6U VME single-board computer with the Intel® Core™ Duo processor running at speeds of 1.67 and 2.0 GHz.

The processor's ultra-low-voltage operation is designed for defense and aerospace platforms in which x86 processing per Watt is critical. The computer is available in both air- and conduction-cooled ruggedized configurations, and can be configured with a dual-core Intel Core Duo processor or a single-core Intel Core Solo processor. The computer is configured with an array of I/O, in addition to two PMC/XMC expansion sites. Air-cooled front-panel I/O includes onboard video graphics and SCSI interfaces.

Other features include up to 4 GB ECC DDR2 SDRAM, up to 4 GB USB User Flash, ATI Radeon X300 graphics onboard with four-lane PCI Express and dual display, and VME 64x Universe II bus interface. The board also features an Intel E7520 memory controller hub and 6300 ESB I/O controller hub. I/O features include two PMC/XMC mezzanine expansion sites, two Gigabit (10/100/1000) Ethernet ports, two video graphics ports, three USB 2.0 ports, two PS/2 ports, two SCSI ports, and six com ports. The board is offered in a variety of ruggedization levels, including L0, L50, and L100 air-cooled and L100 and L200 conduction-cooled configurations. Software includes board support packages for a variety of operating systems, including WindowsXPe, Solaris 10, and Linux. Support for real-time environments such as VxWorks and LynxOS will be available.
