Xantrex Technology Inc. (Vancouver, Canada) has launched the 222W linear XBT programmable power supply for laboratory and low power automated test equipment (ATE) applications. The new XBT Series provides higher power with two 32V, 3A outputs, plus one 15V/5A/30W output, offering much more flexibility than typically found with most bench top supplies.

The XBT power supply is easy to use for both manual operation and computer control. With direct keypad entry and digital encoder knob control, users can pick their preferred method of control depending on the application or user preference. For computer control, USB and RS-232 are standard, while IEEE488.2/GPIB and Ethernet are optional. The power supply appeals to the many varied uses of a bench supply. The small form factor and computer interfaces also make it easy for ATE users to integrate into a system.
