Danaher Motion (Wood Dale, IL) introduced the CT Series Step Motors, which use less power to provide more torque, augmenting operating efficiency and machine throughput. Standard and custom motors are available in NEMA 17, 23, and 34 frame sizes. The units feature a large bearing system to accommodate high thrust loads and high side loading. This allows the load to mount directly to the motor shaft. High-voltage insulation allows the motors to be used with high-voltage drives. An aluminum housing improves heat dissipation and provides higher torque output. Applications include textile and semiconductor equipment.
