The Tolomatic IMA from Tolomatic (Hamel, MN) is an integrated-motor, rod-style actuator that delivers up to 3,300 pounds of force when equipped with a new roller-screw option. It incorporates a hollow core rotor and skewed motor windings. The integrated motor design is suited for clamping, pressing, valve control, and spot welding applications. The hollow core rotor design allows the nut of the screw to pass inside the rotor, providing a compact package.

The actuator with the roller-screw option can move at a top speed of 12" per second. The device is available with a choice of motor voltages in any incremental stroke length from 6 to 18". A lead-screw lubrication system allows re-lubrication without disassembly.
