The servo drive has plug-and-play compatibility with Trio controllers and slice I/O systems and operates at 200V AC with power from 50W to 3kW. The drive extends high control performance to the motor shaft and features EtherCAT update rates down to 125 μs and 350% overload for high dynamic applications. The drive versions span 50W to 400W, 750W to 1.5kW, and 2kW to 3kW. The motors host 23-bit absolute multi-turn capability for positioning accuracy.

Magnetic Angle Sensor

ams Sensors (Elmhurst, IL) offers the posirot® PRAS1 magnetic angle sensor in a narrow rod design. The sensor measures 10.6 mm in diameter and has a length of 53 mm, making it suitable for very narrow installation spaces including door hinges.

The sensor measures rotational positions from 0° to 360° using a Hall effect sensor array and an external position magnet. The magnetic encoder technology is contactless and contains no moving parts.
