Optical Surfaces (Surrey, UK) has released a 235mm clear aperture beam collimator that can precisely measure the quality of the company’s imaging systems from the visible to the IR, using Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) criteria. The 235mm clear aperture beam collimator has an output wavefront error better than lambda/5 p-v, and an off-axis optical design that produces no central obscuration and delivers highly efficient transmission.
