The Super Optical Device 3 from Moritex (San Jose, CA) is a unit optimized for vision and inspection applications that require mounted lens and lighting. Available in three different versions, the Super Optical Device 3 (SOD-III) series includes an optical body that uses coaxial episcopic illumination to image flat surfaces. The device is compatible with various ‘bright field’ lenses and offers flexible mounting options.
