Wireless RF System Powers & Communicates with Devices Inside the Body

A team led by MIT Media Lab presents IVN (In-Vivo Networking) - a system that can wirelessly power and communicate with tiny devices implanted or injected in deep tissues in the human body. The devices could deliver drugs, monitor conditions inside the body, or treat disease by stimulating the brain with electricity. The implants are powered by RF waves.
