Battery Diagnosis with Testing and Simulation

Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries are commonly used to power a variety of portable electronic devices and electric vehicles. Although repurposing Li-ion batteries after their initial use is important, it's also often a challenge. In this video, a senior research scientist from the U.K.’s National Physical Laboratory discusses how his team uses simulation and electrochemical testing for determining a battery’s state-of-health and capacity for reuse.
