Custom Quadcopter Captures Data in the Most Extreme Environments

Watch how researchers at JHU Applied Physics Laboratory use their custom-build quadcopter to capture data in one of the most extreme environments on the planet — the Arctic.

“It felt awesome to collect the first Met UAS data up to one kilometer in the Arctic,” said Zachary Burchfield  of Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. “If we can do it in this environment, we can just about do it anywhere.”
