This Tech Talk examines how to design 3D scenes for simulating and testing automated driving systems. The designed scenes can be exported to most driving simulation environments. Also discussed is how to create a scene using RoadRunner and then run it in CARLA, an open-source simulator for autonomous driving research.
- How to design scenes with roads, markings, signs, signals, and other assets
- How to export from RoadRunner using standard file formats such as Filmbox and OpenDRIVE®
- How to import into CARLA and manually operate vehicles in scene
