The Matlab Webification Science Client consists of several functions that access remote w10n-sci repositories to retrieve data. It supports user sessions to authenticate and authorize access to restricted repositories. In command line mode, it can list the contents of a w10n-sci node, change to other nodes, and retrieve data in chunks or as entire files. Command line mode facilitates batch processing of w10n-sci data by embedding these functions in custom MATLAB scripts.

In GUI (graphical user interface) mode, it provides facilities to browse or filter information about remote w10nsci nodes, as well as retrieve data from remote stores. Akin to a local file system, it provides a tree view for browsing and downloading data for w10n-sci nodes. In addition, it lets the user select specific subsets of data based on information such as orbit, date, or time. It includes several visualization example functions and supports typecasting from JSON or binary data into MATLAB structures or arrays.
