Marco Fliesser serves as Altair’s Global Senior Director of Solution Architecture Data Analytics & AI for automotive, leading the European team of Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Visualization experts. He specializes in applying data analytics to engineering and manufacturing processes for Altair’s industry-leading clients. With his strong background in data science, engineering, and manufacturing, he works with clients on innovative projects to converge those important fields. Throughout his 13-year career at Altair, he has pioneered using data-driven methodologies to improve product development processes. Since 2015 he has given statistics and DoE lectures to automotive master students at the University of Applied Sciences FH-Joanneum in Graz, Austria. He holds a dipl.-ing. degree in aerospace engineering.
