00:00:00 [Music] [Music] we've been around for nineteen twenty-six started out as a gas station between Atlantic City and Philadelphia and started making parts for the glass industry and as they started to automate we they asked us to make conveyors to bring products from point A to point B

00:00:46 in my experience going into plants conveyances a lot of times as an afterthought a lot of times were the last people they think of and we can make such an impact everybody's engineering resources are taxed and they're they have limited capabilities and so they want to want to be able to go to one vendor because if it doesn't work or those two pieces

00:01:14 don't marry up they don't want pointing of the finger so the demonstration that we'll be showing up at cash flow has accumulation table feeding four lanes out to a shuttle mechanism that allows us to release a 4x4 pattern of bottles that goes to a pic location for the scour robot we're using a vacuum six heads to pick up that that 4x4 oh right and it

00:02:01 then simulates putting it into a case or onto a pallet the control for this demo is something called singular control from u Skala what makes this a little unique is a traditional robot that's programs usually in a proprietary robot language then you've got a machine controller doing the other coordination singular control is controlling robots totally controlling AC Drive

00:02:31 there's no servos to control in this particular application but you've got a servo axes ready to go that are not going to cost anything to add you have a single programming platform which is IEC 6 2013 1 so the first time they've done a robot project we have a better shot of them understanding the programming environment with the IC 6 1131 in addition to singular control we

00:02:57 programmed this machine with the PAC ml format and XML format provides the standard structure and the standard communication path for upstream and downstream machine and what it does for the end user is it provides consistency for that look and feel for all these machines that may have come from different programs they have an immediate understanding without the need

00:03:21 for training and requesting HMI changes it just makes it easier for them it's a system that is the future everybody is using or they will be using it very short VCS was the best solution on the control end of things that we don't have that expectation and yes Galois like in terms of the robotic ending was a great fit because they have the all the robots that we need to do

00:03:55 the things that our customers needed it and by marrying all three groups together it's a good fit for a customer it's reliable that all three companies have been around for a long time and they can come to one person and we're all on the same page
