The Harsh Environment Optics (HEOTM) micro video-imaging lenses from Edmund Optics, Inc. (Barrington, NJ) incorporate optical components inside a sealed, water-resistant optical assembly. Intended for automotive and industrial applications, the device also is designed for wash-down and other wet surroundings. In 1/2" and 1/3" sensor formats, the lenses are offered in four focal lengths and feature M12 × 0.5 mounting threads. Coating options allow for visible light or near-infrared infinite conjugate imaging applications.
