QuickSilver Controls (San Dimas, CA) has released the QuickSilver IGF, a simple servo controller/driver for its line of NEMA 11, 17, and 23 frame high-torque, direct-drive servomotors. The QuickSilver IGF features a DIN rail-mountable design, 7 TTL level I/O with optional 24 V, and an RS-232/285 interface. The device also features ASCII/Modbus protocol and enough memory for several thousand lines of programming. The IGF comes with a built-in regenerative braking circuit, single connector to motor, an on/off switch, and status LEDs.
