Matrox Graphics, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, has released the PowerDesk-SE 2.04 display driver that enables a stretched Microsoft® Windows® desktop across up to eight displays. The driver features a joined graphics card mode, which enables two multi-display graphics cards to work in tandem in several Windows desktop combinations. The driver provides more control for displaying information across multiple screens for industries such as energy management and process control. Four modes allow either stretching or cloning of multiple displays.

Additional features include PowerRes mode, which offers increased widescreen resolution support, and Pivot mode, which allows for hardware rotation of one or more displays into portrait view. PowerDesk-SE 2.04 extends the functionality of Matrox Graphics solutions such as the Millennium P-Series, QID series, EpicA TC2 and TC4, Extio series, and Parhelia series.
