Basler (Ahrensburg, Germany/Exton, PA) has released the Basler pulse. Weighing 60 g and measuring 38.8 × 28.2 mm (diameter × length), the camera is available with either global or rolling shutter CMOS sensors, resolutions of up to 5 MP, and frame rates of up to 54 fps. The metal housing includes a tripod socket and a CS-mount lens bracket. A USB 3.0 port enables fast and secure data transfer. The pulse camera includes an anti-flicker filter and features for backlight compensation, de-noising, improved debayering, as well as sharpness and contrast enhancement.
