Toroidal Inductors

Würth Elektronik, Waldenburg, Germany, is expanding its WE-TORPFC inductor series, with 17 new parts. These inductors are suitable for continuous-conduction mode (CCM) boost converters that can produce up to several kilowatts of power. The series is designed for temperatures, up to 155 °C, and is capable of handling operating voltages up to 1000VDC. Multiple sizes are available, inductances range from 118-720μH, and rated currents are up to 48A.

Advantest Corporation, Tokyo, Japan, announced two additions to its MPT3000 solid-state drive (SSD) test platform. The Independent Thermal Control (ITC) device interface boards (DIBs) and Engineering Thermal Chamber (ETC) target early engineering adoption of the MPT3000 by enabling efficient, small-batch engineering, quality assurance, and early test development for SSD devices. The ETC is integrated into the MPT3000ES3 test system to handle the highest-power PCIe Gen 5 DUTs.

Miniature Connectors

Binder USA, Camarillo, CA, announced new angled variants of its snap-in 720 and NCC 770 series miniature connectors. A threaded ring between the contact body and the angled housing has been added. This enables connectors to withstand loads that far exceed standard requirements, even when the force is applied at an angle to the connector axis.
