Toroidal Inductors

Würth Elektronik, Waldenburg, Germany, is expanding its WE-TORPFC inductor series, with 17 new parts. These inductors are suitable for continuous-conduction mode (CCM) boost converters that can produce up to several kilowatts of power. The series is designed for temperatures, up to 155 °C, and is capable of handling operating voltages up to 1000VDC. Multiple sizes are available, inductances range from 118-720μH, and rated currents are up to 48A.

80 GHz Radar Sensors

Endress+Hauser, Greenwood, IN, has launched its new generation of Micropilot 80 GHz radar sensors for level measurement: FMR60B, FMR62B, FMR63B, FMR66B, and FMR67B. They are suited for challenges when measuring points aren’t easily accessible, located in dusty areas and harsh environments with extreme process temperatures and process conditions. Thanks to the compact device design, it can be used in confined installation situations.

Machine Vise

The new Hilma. UC 125 machine vise from STARK Spannsysteme GmbH, Rankweil, Austria, is a true centric clamp. With it, users can quickly retrofit for different workpieces, so fewer clamping devices are needed for a wide range of clamping tasks. Its high level of flexibility is achieved by a separable base and two parallel slides. The workpiece is clamped by a tension spindle with a tensile force of 52 kN.

Thermal Control for SSD Test Platform

Advantest Corporation, Tokyo, Japan, announced two additions to its MPT3000 solid-state drive (SSD) test platform. The Independent Thermal Control (ITC) device interface boards (DIBs) and Engineering Thermal Chamber (ETC) target early engineering adoption of the MPT3000 by enabling efficient, small-batch engineering, quality assurance, and early test development for SSD devices. The ETC is integrated into the MPT3000ES3 test system to handle the highest-power PCIe Gen 5 DUTs.

Fairview Microwave, Irvine, CA, has announced its latest line of Wi-Fi 6E components that provide robust and efficient wireless data transmission. The products feature power ratings to 10 watts and frequencies to 12 GHz. A spectrum of attenuation options, allows for substantial power control with attenuators ranging from 1 dB to 30 dB. Miniature Connectors

Binder USA, Camarillo, CA, announced new angled variants of its snap-in 720 and NCC 770 series miniature connectors. A threaded ring between the contact body and the angled housing has been added. This enables connectors to withstand loads that far exceed standard requirements, even when the force is applied at an angle to the connector axis. Also, the contact body can be rotated in steps of 90°.

3D Systems, Queens, NY, is introducing the Accura AMX Tough FR V0 Black SLA material. The new chemistry is based on its Figure 4 materials, which enabled the industry’s first flame-re-tardant material for SLA. The material is also available as Figure 4 Tough FR V0 Black for use with 3D Systems’ Figure 4 platform, allowing customers to scale part sizes and leverage the system advantages provided by each platform.
