Edmund Optics (EO) (Barrington, NJ) has introduced TECHSPEC® Dichroic Shortpass Filters featuring a sharp cut-off wavelength and broad transmission and reflection ranges. TECHSPEC Dichroic Shortpass Filters are designed for a 45° angle of incidence. Light rejected by the filter is reflected at 90°, making the Dichroic Shortpass Filters perfectly suited for use in fluorescence applications and as spectral beamsplitters. Dichroic Shortpass Filters feature low polarization dependence, offer broad spectral ranges, and are made with a precision fused silica substrate. TECHSPEC Dichroic Shortpass Filters are available in 400 nm to 900 nm models with diameters of 12.5 mm and in 400 nm to 800 nm models with rectangular dimensions of 12.5 mm x 17.6 mm.
