FotoNation, Burlingame, CA, offers PTP-IP Analyzer, a software suite that tests and analyzes firmware in digital imaging devices to ensure it conforms to CIPA PTP-IP, the communications protocol that connects digital cameras to devices such as TVs, printers, PCs, and other cameras. The verification is carried out automatically, flagging any deviations from the standard with a minimum amount of development time.
