Some of the features offered in ASAP 2009 V1R1 include: Conformal Radiometry, BRO Digitizer, Liquid Crystal Cell (LCC), General Uni-axial Medium (GUM), Stokes-Vector Mode for Polarization, Mueller Matrix Element, Optimization, and a REMOTE user interface. Industry applications for ASAP include automotive, architectural and specialty illumination design, simulation of laser systems and other coherent devices, stray light analysis of telescopes and space-based imaging systems, display modeling, and micro-optical device modeling.
